Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of EdVentura, a game-based learning app for Malaysian primary-school children (Kindergarten and Year 1–6). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who may use EdVentura
EdVentura accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. By registering, you confirm you are the parent/guardian of the children whose profiles you add, and that you consent to their use of the app under your supervision.
2. Your account and child profiles
- You are responsible for keeping your login details and Parent PIN confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to use only a first name or nickname for each child profile.
- You may create child profiles up to the limit allowed by your plan.
- Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
3. Plans, pricing and payment
- EdVentura is sold as a one-time purchase for a fixed access period — there is no subscription and no auto-renewal, and no card is stored on file.
- Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by our providers ToyyibPay (FPX / online banking) and Stripe (card). By paying, you also agree to the relevant provider's terms.
- Access is unlocked immediately after successful payment, and a receipt with a PDF invoice is emailed to you.
- When your access period ends, the account simply reverts to the free demo — you will not be charged again.
4. Refunds
Because EdVentura provides immediate access to digital content, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been activated, except where a refund is required by applicable Malaysian law.
- If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents you from using the app and we are unable to resolve it, you may request a refund by contacting us within 7 days of purchase.
- Refund requests are reviewed case by case; approved refunds are returned via the original payment method.
- Referral discounts, once applied, are not exchangeable for cash.
5. Acceptable use
When using EdVentura, you agree that you will not:
- Share, resell, or provide access to your account to people outside your household.
- Copy, scrape, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content, questions, artwork, or software.
- Attempt to bypass payment, access controls, the Parent PIN, or any security measures.
- Reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the app or its servers.
- Upload or transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Use automated tools or bots to access the service, except standard offline caching provided by the app itself.
6. Our content and intellectual property
All content in EdVentura — including games, questions, mascots, artwork, text, and software — is owned by EdVentura or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your family's own learning during your active access period. Certificates and worksheets generated for your children may be downloaded and printed for personal, non-commercial use.
7. Curriculum content and accuracy
EdVentura is aligned to the Malaysian KSSR syllabus. Some practice questions are first-draft, AI-assisted content that we continuously review and verify against official DSKP documents. While we work hard to keep content accurate and age-appropriate, EdVentura is a supplementary learning aid and is not a substitute for the official school curriculum or professional educational advice.
8. Third-party services
The app relies on trusted third parties (for example, payment providers, email delivery, Google sign-in, and hosting). We are not responsible for the availability or actions of these third parties, and your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms.
9. Availability and offline use
We aim to keep EdVentura available and running smoothly, and the app supports offline play with progress that syncs when you reconnect. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and may occasionally suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using EdVentura or ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if payment is reversed or fraudulent, or if required by law. Where an account is terminated for a serious breach, access may end without a refund.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
EdVentura is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current access period.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use EdVentura after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
